The School of Cadence Ballet -”Top Choice Ballet School of 2019 Toronto” Top Choice Awards, “Outstanding School” YAGP Toronto, "Best School" Grand Prix Canada World Finals is run by Courtnae Bowman- "Outstanding Teacher" Youth America Grand Prix, “Best Teacher” SPERA International Ballet Competition-Germany, ”Top Choreographer" ADC IBC - Youth International Ballet Competition and Zhenya Cerneacov-"Dora Award Winning" choreographer and performer. On faculty is “Outstanding Choreographer” YAGP Toronto, "Top Choreographer" WBAC Grand Prix and American Dance Awards.
SCB offers three programs to children, pre-professional and professional dancers. The Junior Training Program for children in Preschool to Grade 2, the Professional Training Program for children Grades 2-12 and the Studio Training Program for children Grades 2-12. The core classical training is based in the Vaganova method with opportunity for dancers to take additional training and examinations in Royal Academy of Dancing, Cecchetti, and American Ballet Theatre methods.
The School of Cadence Ballet is a place where both dancers and parents can see tangible improvement in the student’s level both technically and artistically. The carefully designed program ensures that the dancers receive the right training, exposure and versatility, giving them the best chance at a successful career. The result is a school full of happy and engaged dancers who are improving their grace, work ethic, love of dance, and artistic maturity right before your eyes while being recognized for this on an international level.
Students have been accepted to top international schools such as the Royal Ballet School (London), The Paris Opera Ballet School (Paris), Vaganova Ballet Academy (St. Petersburg), The Bolshoi Ballet (Moscow) and have received countless scholarships to train across the globe. They have received top awards at competitions such as the Youth America Grand Prix, ADC International Ballet Competition and WBAC Grand Prix with invitations to continue to finals where they have continued to receive top awards and scholarship offers. Graduates can be found dancing in various companies and post-secondary dance programs as well as pursuing academic studies in top university programs throughout the world.
