The School of Cadence Ballet is excited to now offer the opportunity to be even more inclusive to our vast community of dance enthusiasts by offering short courses to dancers from varied backgrounds. These courses allow dancers an entry point to the incredible world of ballet through the prestigious Royal Academy of Dancing syllabus.
Whether you are looking to continue on your examination journey, if you have always wanted to try RAD or if you have never danced before, we are here to help! Running Intro to Syllabus and Exam Preparation courses beginning throughout the season there is no better time to start!
Intro to Syllabus:
This course is designed as an entry point to RAD for dancers who are new to RAD or have not learned all the syllabus at a given level. By the end of this course dancers who have attended all hours will have a knowledge of the syllabus material and will be ready for the “Exam Preparation” course in the level they have completed.

Exam Preparation:
This course is designed to prepare the dancers for examination. Children registered with this course will automatically be entered in a corresponding examination with the Royal Academy of Dancing.

Dance to Your Own Tune is the curriculum for children from 2½ to 5 years.

Primary Levels
Pre-Primary in Dance and Primary in Dance ages 5+ provides a broad practical dance education and develops technical, musical and performance skills

Graded Levels
The Graded syllabus (Grade 1–8) provides a broad practical dance education and develops technical, musical and performance skills (age 5+).
​
Vocational Levels
The Vocational Syllabus (Intermediate Foundation, Intermediate, Advanced Foundation, Advanced 1, Advanced 2, provide an in-depth study of ballet and prepare students for a career in dance (age 11+).
